Programme Description

• HKETA Wound Care Course aims to provide an opportunity for nurses to attain knowledge, skill and expertise in relation to enterostomal therapy and prepare for an advanced role in this specialty.

Medium of instruction

• Cantonese supplemented with English

Class arrangement

• Classes are usually held on weekday evenings in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University campus.

• 50

Assessment methods

• Students will be assessed by examination at the end of each module. 

Completion requirements

• For each module, Certificate of completion will be issued to student who have an overall attendance of at least 80% and pass all the module examination. Certificate of attendance will be issued to student who have an overall attendance of at least 80%. 
• Students who complete two modules will be awarded Certificate of completion to the HKETA Wound Care Course.
